Well, I meant to do the full 30 day challenge but got caught up in building again. I'm finally *almost* done with Desiderata Valley which has a bit of a So Cal theme. Haven't taken many screenshots yet because I'd like to include the pre-made makeovers when I do. But I decided to post the house I built for Malcolm Landgraab, Natasha Una's makeover and a couple interior shots of the house. Oh, and I've also been playing Cooke's Landing trying to get past generation one so that the town can finally take form.
Malcolm's place at the beach in Bluewater Village.

Seemed like Bluewater Village would have to be a tourist trap with all the shops that form the basis of the place. So, it seemed only fitting that Malcolm would buy real estate overlooking a private beach because that would be THE coveted local for a home. Clearly I've been living on the California coast way too long but Bluewater Village always seemed too haphazard for my liking and I've never figured out a way that it made much sense as a neighborhood.

Natasha's makeover and house were fairly simple. I will include more shots of her house (and Malcolm's) once I'm closer to being able to play through each hood. Because she's an artist I felt that her living room would actually be more of an open place to talk with other artists. Entertain with music, dance and food. As such it was purposely left a bit stark. Recently I've been reading Anais Nin's Diaries and thought that Natasha would probably have that sort of bohemian life filled artists and intellectuals.
